What is Matched Betting?

Matched Betting is betting on a bookmakers price (primarily price boosts or enhanced accas) that has been enlarged and then laying that bet on an exchange such as Betfair or Smarkets. For example, you might be offered odds of 2/1 (3.0) for a specific footballer to score a goal in a game but you can lay that same selection on an exchange at 1/1 (2.0). If you had £10 on that selection you would then win £10 if the player does score and lose nothing if he doesn't. You could change it so you make £5 whether he does/doesn't. With offers every day, lots at the weekend this is an easy way of building your balance up.
